Hi, I’m Janine.

I’m the heart behind Eternal Sunshine Events—a planner and coordinator who believes meaningful celebrations begin with thoughtful preparation, calm guidance, and genuine care. My goal is to create an experience that feels personal, intentional, and beautifully supported from our first conversation through the final moment of your celebration.

My foundation in events was built over 18 years at a financial institution, where I have helped coordinate more than 75 corporate and community events while collaborating with executives, internal teams, vendors, and community partners. Alongside that work, I have gained experience planning and supporting 23 weddings, bringing the organization and steady presence developed through large-scale events into the deeply personal world of weddings.

Leadership and mentorship have also shaped the way I serve others. I was selected for a women’s protégé group that created and launched a mentorship program, which I helped lead for two years. I have also participated in an HR mentorship program, helped found an employee resource group supporting AAPI colleagues, and served on our Celebrations Committee since 2012. These experiences taught me how to listen carefully, bring people together, and turn a shared vision into something meaningful.

Community service is especially close to my heart. From 2018 through 2024, I co-captained my company’s team supporting the Alzheimer’s Association through fundraising and awareness efforts. Together, our team raised more than $50,000 each year to support individuals and families affected by the disease. That work reminded me that events can do more than bring people together—they can create connection, offer hope, and make a lasting difference.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of two daughters, and my girls are my everything. Hawai‘i is also deeply rooted in my heart. I grew up dancing hula and Tahitian, and through family, close friends, and the time I have spent on the islands, Hawai‘i has become a meaningful part of my life—and one of the places I’m especially honored to help couples celebrate.

My faith guides both who I am and the values behind Eternal Sunshine Events. I approach each wedding with care, grace, and intention, creating a calm and supportive experience where every detail feels thoughtfully considered and every couple feels genuinely cared for.
